Augustus Iosty

| Augustus Iosty was born in Sauk County, Wisc., May 21, 1866. He came with his parents to Anamosa, Iowa in 1871 and was in the employ of Mr. Kaufmann fourteen years and five years for Hellberg & Sons. He died December 25th and the funeral was held from the M E church on the 17th, Rev. S. W. Heald officiating. The fire department of which he was a member, attended the obsequies. Interment was had in Riverside cemetery.
Mrs. W. A. Aldrich of Storm Lake, a sister, was present; also Oscar, a brother, from Davenport, likewise another brother residing in this vicinity. The deceased was highly esteemed.
The family desire that we extend to the firemen and all others their sincere thanks for their aid and sympathy in this time of affliction.
