| DEARBORN B. BEAN, farmer, Clay Twp., Sec. 7; P.O. Clayford; was born in Grant Co., N.H., in 1835; he came to Jones Co. in 1857, and settled in Scotch Grove Township; settled where he now lives in 1860. He war married to Elizabeth Slater, daughter of B. C. Slater, who came from the State of New York and settled in Clay Township in 1854; his wife died in 1876; he now resides with his son-in-law. Mr. B. has sixty acres of land.
